Romania may train Ukrainian pilots on F16s.

NATO is considering establishing a training program for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets in Romania, according to sources familiar with the planning. Lockheed Martin is expected to lead the effort, pending the conclusion of a contract. The issue of which countries will provide Ukraine with the warplanes is yet to be resolved. Romania has not confirmed the report, but said it welcomes the initiative to establish a coalition of NATO allies to provide training for F-16 pilots.
