Russia Implements Ban on Large Ammunition Quantities to Prevent Self-Detonation

Large batches of 122- and 152-mm artillery ammunition produced in 2023 have been prohibited for use in Russia due to their self-detonation, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The morale of Russian mobilised personnel is also low due to a lack of understanding of the tasks and goals of the war in Ukraine, as well as uncertainty about their involvement in hostilities and stay in the armed forces.
