Russian Military Implements Ban on Self-Detonating Ammunition.

Large batches of 122mm and 152mm artillery shells produced in 2023 have been prohibited for use in Russia due to their self-detonation, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ban is due to the impact of international sanctions on Russia's defense industry. Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka axis, with heavy fighting raging there.
