Wagner Group pays out millions of rubles in cash to its fighters and their relatives at rented offices in major Russian cities and at its base in the Krasnodar region. A company called Service 200 organizes funerals for killed Wagner mercenaries and handles payments. Relatives are advised not to deposit the money in a bank account and are given instructions on how to handle the cash. Wagner representatives also issue medals to relatives when its fighters earn them within the paramilitary structure.
