Ukraine seeks modern aircraft to counter Russian invasion.

Ukraine has received billions of dollars in Western security assistance to continue its war with Russia, but doubts remain about whether Western countries will be able to maintain that level of support after the next round of fighting. Military expert Michael Kofman said it will be a challenge for the West to help Kyiv maintain an advantage, especially if Ukraine goes on the offensive. After a future offensive, Ukraine's military will have to replenish its stocks of artillery ammunition and replace its troop losses, which may be difficult if Western countries do not have the will and capacity to provide sufficient military aid again.
