Russian sources have claimed that Ukraine's armed forces have intensified night assaults in recent days. However, Russia's electronic-warfare superiority is key to disrupting Ukrainian attacks, and it has improved its use of electronic warfare over the course of the invasion. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the Ukrainian counteroffensive had started, and heavy battles continued, especially in eastern Ukraine.
