"NATO's Major Readiness Exercise Sends Message Near Russian Border"

NATO forces from nine member countries completed a challenging river crossing exercise over the Vistula River in Poland as part of the Polish-led Dragon-24 military exercise, amid concerns about potential Russian aggression. The exercise, involving American, British, French, German, Spanish, Turkish, Slovenian, and Lithuanian soldiers, aimed to practice defense coordination, logistics capabilities, and troop movement across Polish territory. The larger-scale Steadfast Defender-24 exercise, organized by NATO, will continue until the end of May and is intended to demonstrate the ability to counter any aggressive policies and provocative activities of the Russian Federation.
