"USS Gravely Thwarts Houthi Attacks in Gulf of Aden"
TL;DR
The U.S. Navy destroyer Gravely intercepted two ballistic missiles fired by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in the Gulf of Aden, aimed at a U.S.-flagged container ship. This is part of a series of attacks on commercial vessels in the region, prompting retaliatory strikes by the U.S. and U.K. militaries targeting Houthi logistical hubs and air defense systems in Yemen. The U.S. has attributed these attacks to Iran and has formed a multinational task force to protect civilian ships in the area.
