"Netherlands to Provide Ukraine with Additional F-16 Jets and Missiles"

Ukraine is expecting to equip its long-awaited F-16 jets with missiles that have a range of more than 300 miles, allowing its Defense Forces to achieve greater success on the battlefield. The country has been using missiles with a range of approximately 190 to 300 miles, courtesy of Western backers, to strike Russian targets. The F-16 jets, expected to arrive in the next few months, will provide Ukraine with more modern avionics and better radars, enabling it to operate from farther distances and counter Russian air superiority. An international coalition is currently training Ukrainian pilots to operate the F-16s, with the first batch of jets expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2024.
