Israel's Arrow missile defense system successfully intercepted an Iranian-made long-range ballistic missile launched from Yemen by the Houthi militia, marking the first operational interception of a ballistic missile by the system. This launch also set two records: the longest-range launch of ballistic missiles from ground batteries and the first operational use of the Arrow system after more than three decades of development and 25 years since its deployment.
