Belarusian President Lukashenko Rushed Back Home During Victory Day Breakfast in Moscow

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko skipped the Victory Day breakfast in Moscow and was rushed back to Minsk with an ambulance in tow after attending the parade. Lukashenko declined to walk to the Unknown Soldier monument with other visiting heads of state and was driven in an electric cart. A bandage visible on his hand during the parade has led to speculation that he might have held an IV catheter. Russian and Belarusian authorities have yet to comment on Lukashenko's absence at breakfast or his early departure.
