Denmark Increases Military Spending and Aid to Ukraine.

Denmark plans to invest $21bn in defence over the next 10 years to meet its military and security goals as a founding NATO member. The country currently spends $3.89bn on defence annually, and the government will progressively increase this by up to $2.8bn by 2033, beginning with an increase of $995m next year. Additionally, Denmark will allocate $3.16bn in military aid to Ukraine. The Danish government acknowledged shortcomings in its ability to defend its territories and pledged to permanently boost its defence spending to 2% of its GDP, an integral NATO goal.
