"Estonian PM advocates for Ukraine's NATO and EU membership bids amid tensions with Russia and Poland"

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas visited Ukraine and expressed support for Ukraine's accession to NATO "as soon as conditions allow." Kallas and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy signed a joint declaration condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine and agreed to work together to establish a path for Ukraine to join NATO. Zelenskiy thanked Estonia for its defense support and reiterated demands for rapid deliveries of more weapons from Western allies. Russia has said weapons supplies to Ukraine by NATO countries are dragging out the conflict and raising the possibility of a further escalation.
