European Leaders Convene in Moldova to Address Regional Conflicts and NATO Membership.

President Zelenskiy of Ukraine joined European leaders at a summit in Moldova, where he pressed his case for Ukraine to be part of NATO and reiterated calls for Western fighter jets. The summit, which took place near the Russian-backed breakaway region of Transdniestria, aimed to show support for Ukraine against Russia's invasion. The EU also aimed to tackle tensions in northern Kosovo and address other frictions in Europe, including between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Moldova, like Ukraine, applied to join the EU last year and is planning to use the summit to showcase reforms and convince leaders to open accession talks.
