EU's Metsola advocates for continued support to Ukraine against Russian aggression.

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has reiterated the EU's support for Ukraine amid Moscow's allegations that Kyiv is responsible for drone attacks on the Russian capital. Metsola emphasized the EU's resolve to stand with Kyiv until Russia leaves Ukraine. The European Union is spending hundreds of millions of euros to arm Kyiv as it battles Russia. The initiative foresees the use of up to €500 million ($530 million) of EU public money. Metsola said the spending is justified as Ukraine is fighting for fundamental values and freedoms.
