President Zelensky stated that sanctions against Russia are just one tool to stop the Kremlin's authoritarian rule and desire to take over Ukraine. He emphasized the need for people to understand the reality of the war in Ukraine and that it is not a civil war but Russia's war against Ukraine. Zelensky noted that people in Latin America are starting to understand this and support the resolution of the UN General Assembly calling for an end to hostilities and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
