NATO allies hesitant to send advanced jets to Ukraine amidst Russian threats.

Poland and Slovakia have pledged to send MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, marking a significant escalation of military support from NATO members since the Russian invasion. While the move could start a domino effect of more European countries providing fighter jets to Ukraine, the impracticality of supplying F-16 jets, requiring extensive training, is clear. Without them, obtaining air superiority is further out of reach for Ukraine, which is currently a generation behind Russia in terms of air force technology.
