Russia Urges Swift End to Ukraine Conflict, Says Lavrov.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated during a visit to Brazil that Russia wants the conflict in Ukraine to end as soon as possible and thanked Brazil for its understanding of the situation. Russia has repeatedly stated that any settlement of the conflict must acknowledge the realities of its unilateral annexation of four Ukrainian provinces, which its armed forces partly control.
