Ukraine's NATO invitation could end war, says President's Office

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, believes that inviting Ukraine to NATO could be a key factor in ending the war with Russia. Yermak stated that joining NATO is not only Ukraine's wish but also a necessity for modern Europe. He added that Ukraine needs security guarantees on its way to NATO membership, as membership in NATO is the main guarantee. NATO member states are divided on the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO, with some inclined to offer an expanded partnership format instead of a concrete roadmap for accession.
