Eiffel Tower Evacuated due to Bomb Alert

The Eiffel Tower in Paris was evacuated for several hours after a bomb alert. Bomb disposal experts and police searched the area, including a restaurant located on one of the floors. Visitors were cleared from the tower and the surrounding square, while a security perimeter was established. The alert was later lifted, and construction on the tower began in 1887, with completion in 1889.
