Charity garden destroyed by vandals, TikTokers offer support.
TL;DR
Carly Burd, a TikToker who grows fruits and vegetables for people in need, found her garden vandalized with salt, killing the crops. After sharing her heartbreak on TikTok, users poured in donations, advice, and support. Burd plans to turn the space into a community center and has raised over £83,000 for her "A Meal on Me with Love" initiative. She also plans to cover the salt with topsoil to neutralize it and turn the area into a seating space for neighbors to connect and share their own foods and harvests.
