Search for Missing Skier in Switzerland Amid Tragic Deaths
TL;DR
Helicopters are searching for a missing skier near the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland after five other members of the party, including members of the same family, were found dead in "catastrophic" conditions. The group of cross-country skiers went missing near the Tête Blanche mountain, and authorities have described the weather conditions as severe, with snow storms, high winds, and extreme temperatures. Another off-piste skier was also killed in a separate incident in the same canton due to avalanches.
