FlixBus resurrects Poland's '666' bus to Hel with Kraków–Hel summer route

FlixBus is reviving Route 666 with a new daily summer service from Kraków to Hel, routing via Warsaw and Baltic coast resorts. The roughly 13‑hour journey marks the return of the famous “bus to hell” number (which was changed to 669 in 2023 after protests) and is designed to offer direct Kraków–Hel connections for the summer holiday period, avoiding peak traffic en route to the Baltic coast. The Hel Peninsula is a popular Baltic destination; the 666 branding is a deliberate nod to the route’s history rather than a destination to hell.
