Russia revamps Cold War-era tanks for intensified Ukraine war.

As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, Russia has reportedly pulled mothballed Cold War-era tanks out of deep storage to bolster its ground forces in Ukraine. While Ukraine is receiving advanced weaponry from the West, including heavy main battle tanks, Russia may be struggling to get modern war machines to the front lines. Pro-Kremlin military analysts have made no attempt to downplay the apparent resurrection of the Soviet military hardware, with one retired lieutenant general claiming that as many as 10,000 old Soviet tanks are in Russian storage.
