Xi's Russia visit raises concerns for the West.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement calling for peace in Ukraine, but did not offer any concrete plan for a settlement. The visit was seen as a display of unity against the U.S.-led NATO alliance of the West.
