UK braces for record-breaking heatwave and Wimbledon highs
TL;DR
Parts of the UK are experiencing a significant heatwave with temperatures potentially reaching 34-35°C, making it one of the hottest June days on record, prompting health alerts, wildfire risks, and event adjustments like Glastonbury and Wimbledon. Scotland and Northern Ireland remain cooler with rain, while the heat poses health risks especially to vulnerable populations.
