Vietnam and Laos experience record-breaking heatwave.

Vietnam and Laos have broken their all-time temperature records with temperatures reaching 44.1C and 43.5C respectively. Spain has also experienced a heatwave with the country breaking its April temperature record and receiving below normal rainfall each month since the start of the year. A tropical disturbance is expected to bring some relief to south-east Asia with strong winds and significant rainfall. However, the outlook for Spain is not expected to bring much relief from the drought.
