"Octogenarian Holocaust Survivors Reflect on Surviving Hamas Attacks"
TL;DR
Haim Raanan, an 88-year-old Holocaust survivor, recounts surviving both the Nazi Holocaust as a child in Hungary and the Hamas attack on Kibbutz Beeri in Israel on October 7. He expresses that the recent attack hit him even harder on a personal level, despite the incomprehension it may evoke, as it resulted in the loss of over 100 friends and neighbors. Raanan's story serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of remembering the Holocaust and combating antisemitism.
