Russian Tourist Killed in Shark Attack in Egypt

A tiger shark believed to have killed a Russian tourist in Egypt was caught and beaten to death by local beachgoers. Witnesses claimed the shark toyed with the victim's body for two hours before dragging him underwater. The shark's body will be examined in a laboratory to investigate what may have triggered the rare attack and whether it was responsible for other incidents. The officials have closed off a 74-kilometre stretch of the coastline and announced that it will remain off-limits for those planning to go for swimming or other water sports activities till Sunday.
