Blackmagic's 100G URSA Cine Immersive Poised for Vision Pro, Priced About $29K
Blackmagic Design unveiled the URSA Cine Immersive 100G, the first commercial camera system designed to output live immersive 3D video for Apple Vision Pro, powered by 100G Ethernet; it ships in Q3 2026 at $29,145 (the URSA Cine Live Encoder adds ProRes SMPTE-2110-22 output for $1,645). The dual 8K stereoscopic cameras capture 180-degree FOV with 8,160 x 7,200 per eye, 16 stops of dynamic range, up to 90 fps, and offer multiple I/O (12G-SDI, USB-C, XLR, 8-pin Lemo). Blackmagic notes it has been used on MotoGP: Tour De Force, BBC Proms, and other projects, while the original URSA Cine Immersive remains available at $27,495.
