Subaru WRX Sales Surge 191% in August After Trim and Production Adjustments
Subaru WRX sales rebounded sharply in 2026, with August figures up 191% year-over-year. The recovery follows the reintroduction of a cheaper base trim and improved production priority after the Forester displaced the WRX in 2025. Year-to-date sales have risen 37.7%, putting the model on track to exceed last year’s record low.
