Haas confirms Ocon exit as 2027 seat candidates emerge
Haas F1 Team has officially announced that French driver Esteban Ocon will depart at the end of the 2026 season. The split follows two years of consistent underperformance relative to team-mate Oliver Bearman. Ocon, who joined Haas in 2025, faces an uncertain future with no immediate grid openings for 2027, though he insists his Formula 1 career is not over. Several drivers, including Ferrari junior Rafael Camara and McLaren’s Leonardo Fornaroli, are now being considered as his replacement.
