Canucks boost draft capital with Garland trade to Columbus
Vancouver Canucks trade forward Conor Garland to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2028 second-round pick and a 2026 third-round pick, aligning with their rebuild. Garland, who arrived in Vancouver in 2021, has 317 points in 535 NHL games and appeared in 21 playoff games. The deal gives Vancouver eight selections in 2026 and nine in 2028.
