Apple gears up for its largest iPhone overhaul, including a foldable and edge-to-edge anniversary edition
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says Apple’s hardware chief John Ternus is overseeing the biggest iPhone revamps in history, including a foldable model this year and an edge-to-edge 20th-anniversary iPhone that could debut in 2027. The foldable is anticipated to launch in September, with rumored specs such as a 7.7-inch inner display, a crease-reduced panel, dual rear cameras, a front camera, and a Touch ID power button; iOS 27 would be tuned for foldable multitasking. The 20th-anniversary device is described as a seamless, curved-glass design with an under-display front camera, though feasibility by next year remains uncertain.
