Indy Goes Handheld: Switch 2 Port Delivers Surprising Fidelity at 30fps
Switch 2's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle port preserves ray-traced global illumination and uses a DLSS-like upscale, targeting 30fps with compressed textures to fit a 64GB cartridge. Docked, it runs 540–1080p and upscales to 1080p; handheld renders at 360–720p with some texture downgrades and NPCs limited to 15fps to save CPU. While frame-rate dips occur in busy areas, the port remains a faithful, well-engineered adaptation that competes well with Series S and PS5 in visual fidelity given the hardware constraints.
