Ukraine's 'Storm' Brigade Equipped by US Spotted in Eastern Region
The 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, one of Ukraine's new US-equipped 'Storm' brigades, has been spotted in the east, engaged in heavy fighting with Russian forces. The brigade, fitted out with a variety of U.S.-supplied equipment including MaxxPro mine-resistant, ambush protected vehicles, or MRAPs, was created this year to take part in Ukraine's counteroffensive. The brigade had undergone training by Military.com reporter Adrian Bonenberger, who helped train elements of the 31st's reconnaissance battalion.
