GKIDS Grabs North American Rights to Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and 5 Centimeters Per Second Live-Action
GKIDS has acquired North American rights to the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust anime film and the live-action adaptation of Makoto Shinkai’s 5 Centimeters Per Second. The company will screen Bloodlust in Japanese with English subtitles in select fall showings ahead of a 2027 theatrical/home release, and will also bring the 5 Centimeters Per Second live-action title to North American theaters as part of its release plans.
