Grand Seiko quietly upgrades Evolution 9 with five Spring Drive U.F.A. models
Grand Seiko updates its Evolution 9 Spring Drive line with five non-limited models powered by the 9RB2 Ultra Fine Accuracy movement. Four wear Ever-Brilliant Steel and one uses High-Intensity Titanium (SLGB007), all with a 72-hour power reserve and ±20 seconds per year accuracy; sizes are 40x11.7mm for four models and 37x11.4mm for SLGB015, with dial themes of Lake Suwa, White Birch, and Atera Valley. A new three-step micro-adjustable clasp and a slimmer bracelet improve wearability; prices start at €10,400 for most models and €11,700 for SLGB007, with availability from September 2026. This is evolution, not revolution, in Grand Seiko’s flagship line.
