Poland inks $4.8B Saab submarine deal, widens Baltic defense ties
Poland signed a 47‑billion kronor ($4.83B) contract with Saab to acquire three A26 submarines, including weapons, training and support, with deliveries through 2038, as part of deeper Baltic Sea defense cooperation with Sweden under the Baltic Sea Pact to deter Russia and bolster regional security.
