ABC denies end of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, calls cancellation rumors speculation
ABC says rumors of cancelling Jimmy Kimmel Live! after its current season are inaccurate and purely speculative, noting there’s no official end date as the show’s future remains undecided. The clarification follows multiple outlets reporting that Kimmel, under a year-to-year deal, has been shopping other projects, while his wife Molly McNearney discussed retirement ideas. The piece also recalls that Kimmel’s show launched in 2003 and was briefly pulled last year after controversial remarks about Charlie Kirk, with Kimmel later expressing regret.
