Minneapolis police seize weapons from apartment shared by Rep. Ilhan Omar's son, sparking online backlash
Minneapolis police raided the apartment of Rep. Ilhan Omar's son, Adnan Hirsi, and seized firearms and ammunition after arresting his roommate, Abdulrahman Abdi. While Hirsi was not implicated in the incident, the news triggered intense criticism from conservative figures on social media, who highlighted the irony given Omar's stance on gun control. The Minneapolis Police Department confirmed Abdi's arrest and release but declined to comment on the raid, and neither Omar nor her ex-husband has publicly responded.
