Sony patents finger-encasing controller buttons that stiffen around the finger

Final Fantasy 16 Goes Gold and Utilizes DualSense Controller for Next-Gen Experience.

Final Fantasy 16's main director, Hiroshi Takai, has revealed that the game will use the PS5 DualSense controller's adaptive triggers and haptic feedback in battle and exploration. Square Enix has also announced that the game has gone gold, meaning the main development has been completed ahead of its release on June 22. The producer, Naoki Yoshida, has expressed interest in releasing a PC version of the game eventually, but it won't be optimized in a short span of half a year.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: A Triggering Survival Horror Masterpiece.

The Resident Evil 4 remake on PS5 makes excellent use of the DualSense controller's adaptive triggers, with varying feedback for different terrains and weapons. The small speaker on the controller is also used for immersion, such as crackly radio conversations. These features are not game-breaking, but it's nice to see studios cater to a console's specialized selling points. It's unclear if the features work on the PC version with a DualSense controller.
