Marinelli Delivers Brooding, Mournful Mastery in a Dire Addiction Drama
Set largely in a single London flat, The Echo Chamber follows a drug-addicted music producer and his doctor lover as their volatile, codependent bond spirals toward tragedy. Anchored by Luca Marinelli’s magnetically sad performance and Alicia Vikander’s fiery turn, Andrea Pallaoro’s Bertolucci-inspired drama blends moody visuals with operatic melodrama, premiering at Venice 2026 and seeking U.S. distribution.
