Japanese City Implements ChatGPT for Administrative Assistance
The city of Yokosuka in Japan has become the first in the country to trial the use of OpenAI's ChatGPT for administrative tasks. The one-month trial will allow each of the city's 4,000 municipal employees to use the AI bot for tasks such as summarizing and drafting documents. The move comes as the city faces a worker shortage and aims to improve efficiency. The Japanese federal government has also signaled its openness to adopting the tool across the nation following a visit from OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
