Sweden’s Saab announced a SEK 24.6 billion deal with the Swedish FMV to deliver 16 Gripen E fighters to Ukraine, with first providing 16 Gripen C/D jets donated and handed over by 2027; the Gripen Es are scheduled for delivery to Ukraine between 2029 and 2030. The package includes spare parts and equipment. The Gripen E features a larger fuel load, GE F414 engine, ten hardpoints, the ES-05 Raven AESA radar, IRST, and compatibility with Meteor missiles, and it will operate alongside Ukraine’s Erieye AEW&C aircraft. MiG-35 equipped with AESA radar detects F-22 at 80 miles

Russia has officially announced the restart of serial production of the MiG-35 fighter jet, with deliveries planned for 2024. The MiG-35 is equipped with an AESA radar capable of detecting an F-22 at a distance of 80 miles. It can track up to 30 targets and engage six simultaneously, making it suitable for attacking tanks, ships, and heavy artillery. The MiG-35 is considered the most advanced Russian fighter jet and is highly maneuverable. While the Su-75 Checkmate is a promising development, the MiG-35 is seen as a necessary addition to Russia's air fleet in the current situation in Ukraine.
