Microsoft has surprise-launched Age of Empires IV on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, as well as Xbox Game Pass, with optional cross-play multiplayer support between PC and Xbox players. The console port includes a tutorial and full keyboard and mouse support, while also offering a variety of accessibility options. The game targets up to 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and supports up to 60fps on both Series X and S.
