France convicts two in streamer death over live-stunt case
Two men in France were convicted of aggravated violence in connection with the death of streamer Raphaël Graven, who died in August 2025 during a live-streamed stunt on Kick. They received suspended prison terms (18 months for Safine Hamadi and two years for Owen Cenazandotti), fines of €5,000 and €15,000, and a six-month ban from posting on Kick. Prosecutors said the probable cause of death appeared linked to Graven’s poor health, not manslaughter, and the pair were acquitted of abusing his psychological frailty; they had argued the stunts were done with Graven’s consent.
