Snapchat's AI Dreams Turn into Sentience Scare
Snapchat is expanding its generative AI features with a new feature called "Dreams," which allows users to place AI-generated selfies of themselves and their friends in imaginative backgrounds. The company is developing Dreams with Friends, where users can give their friends permission to generate these AI "dream" images. The feature may also be monetizable in the future, as references to purchasing Dream Packs have been found in Snapchat's app.
