Pixel 11 Pro's 120x AI Zoom Sparks Online Roasts Over AI-Enhanced Photos
Google has extended Pixel 11 Pro’s Pro Zoom to 120x, using generative AI to reconstruct distant scenes and deliver crisper images. The feature has sparked widespread mockery on the Pixel community’s forums as many users realize ultra-zoom shots may be AI-generated rather than true photos. The debate echoes earlier concerns about authenticity in AI-processed images, with examples like lunar-eclipse shots fueling discussions about what counts as a real photo.
