
US counters alarm over munitions as replenishment timelines loom
The White House and Pentagon reject reports of dangerously low munitions, insisting stockpiles remain ample and production is ramping up, but CSIS and other outlets warn Patriot and THAAD interceptors, as well as long-range missiles like ATACMS and PrSM, are well below pre-war levels, potentially weakening deterrence and complicating allied security as replenishment could take years.
